Hey guys I have been thinking about buying clip ons.
Just wanted some advice on what brand to but/where to buy from also who has ridden with them and are they uncomfortable??
 
I really like Apex clip ons. They have a heap of adjustments and every one that has them loves them.

I don't have them personally but all the R1 guys seem to really like them.
I don't see why they wouldn't work on an FZ1.

There may be clearance issues with the stock fairing at full lock.
Have you considered CONVERTIBARS?
Also check out WOODCRAFT.
 
Check out the speedymoto Tallboys clip ons. They've got about a three inch rise. It gives about the same handlebar height as stock when used with an R1 front end. Gives great adjustability.
 
Like Terry said its hard to get clearance with the fairing, I think mine only worked
because it was lowered. The bike handled so much better with the clip-ons. they are DanMoto 3d clip-ons.

I use Convertibars. They work well, but clearance is an issue, which limits the adjustability in how low and forward you can set them. I ended up trimming the inner fairing panels to get my bars in a position I like the best.
