Clutch question

I'll do my best here to ask. In the clutch is the clutch assembly, and the pull rod that disengages the clutch. Where that pull rod contacts the inner clutch body, is there supposed to be a washer there? I have a feeling there is, but the factory service manual does not show one.

I have never had my clutch apart, but below is the parts diagram. Is this the same thing that you're seeing in the service manual?

Yes I see that same diagram. The washer would be between 1 and 2.
I am having a disengaging issue since I opened it up for inspection, there may have been a washer. Stupid yes, but I'm just trying to figure it out.
