Clutch slipping with 11k miles?

Recently when riding hard, there has been a bit.of clutch slip. I do ride hard in the twisties, but don't abuse the clutch. I do pull the occasional clutch up, but not often. Are the factory clutch springs too weak? Bike has only 11k miles.

I don't think the FZ1 is known to have flimsy clutch springs but then again, unless I have had experience riding with you, there is no way for me to make a decision on whether or not you abuse your clutch. 11,000 miles is certainly not many miles and if the bike has been maintained properly and ridden wth any kind of respect for the machine, you shouldn't have a slipping clutch. Are you the original owner? if not, maybe the first owner was a real fireball. If it is slipping, other things than the springs could be the cause, such as glazed plates or incorrect free-play at the lever. You may end up getting in there to check it out or having a dealer check it.
