ECU Question

I'm waiting for Hellgate to post how his total ECU 're-flash' worked, as I'm really tired of my throttle snatch/etc, BUT . . . . I've got a question for you guys that are 'ECU Smart' and since I know nothing about electronics . . .

Would a '06/'07/etc R1 ECU 'fix' all the issues w/the Gen II ECU?

No it wouldn't as the R1 ECU contols the fuel, timing, variable velocity stacks, and throttle by wire. It is much more complex than ours.

I'm hoping I hear more this week on the ECU reflash. I really want to try it out. Right now it all depends on how soon the programming is completed. Because they not done an 06 its taking a little longer than normal.
