ECUnleashed ECU Flash

How do they set the fuel just by knowing the mods done to the bike. I will be sending my ecu out to get the flash in a week or so. i am very excited to get the restriction off the first three gears.

You'll love it. I've no idea. When I spoke with AF1 Racing they said that ECUnleased was tight lipped.

I can spin the tire up with no worried. :)

That is good to hear being stretched and so low i will greatly benifit from the timing curve. Do you think i should send it to the tuners that did yours or use one closer to me? I also will have the bike put on the dyno to check if every thing is ok. It seems as they took awile with yours was that a fluke? Do you have any idea on the turn around is for a 2006 reflash now? thanks for answering my questions i am excited and i wount get to talk to them till after the weekend.

I'd guess you'll get it back in a business week. You can send it to any shop as they all have access to the same flash.

Ed at AF1 racing said the O2 will be useless (open loop?) I have removed mine and blocked the bung. Also the Exup can be removed and not throw a code. Should have mine back next week.

Different bikes have different serial numbers on the ECU and they have to be cracked first. Once that particular build/serial number is cracked, it is a piece of cake. Sent mine to AF1 Racing and they had to send it to CA to be cracked (08 FZ1). They said they had not seen my serial number before. Monday will be 3 weeks since I mailed it out to AF1.
