Fuel gauge/sender problem

Hi Crew,
I have an 06, the fuel gauge reads correct at start up when cold and then slowly creeps up to show a full tank ( even tho there may be 1/4 tank )
Does anyone know if the sender is a spare part or do i have to buy a complete fuel pump or has anybody a fix?

Pretty sure its all in one. Might be worth lifting the tank and unplugging/checking the connections. Just guessing but a bad connection might cause resistance to increase which depending on which way the guage reads might cause this.

Done all that removed tank gave it a good shake , just in case the float was doing something weird .
I agree it appearrs a resistance thing but not being an auto elec dont understand how the thing works .
