I'm trying to buy, and have found some bar end mirrors on ebay but i'm not sure if the fz1n bars are the same as the fz1s. If they're the same then my search is done. cheers.

No they are not the same.
The FZ1N bars have a Yamaha R1 style rubber insert with 6mm female thread.
The FZ1S has 16mm screwed bar ends.
You will have to look for ones that fit a 2005/2006 Yamaha R1.
