Gen 1 Starting and Stalling issues

Just wanted to post some updates on this.

I decided to stop using Costco 87 octane and started filling up at Chevron with 91 octane and the problem all but disappeared.

She stalled a few times this morning when cold., but that was the first issue I have had in two weeks.

Could I have just been getting some bad fuel? I thought Coscto Gasoline was good quality, I fill up my truck and my sports car there all the time and never have any issues.

As the motor ages could it just be more sensitive to 87 vs 91?

A co-worker had actually suggested the fuel change, he feels the additives that Chevron/Shell and other more expensive stations actually makes a big difference in how any engine performs.

Up to this point I only put in 87.
