Gen II Bar Risers

$30 from fleabay. Protect the bike. Always mark the stock position on a piece of clear tape.
The riser inserts do not match exactly as they are chrome plated, but they pinch the bar and are secure. Don't forget to use locktite anyway. I definitely recommend the mod if you want a slightly more upright riding position. Worth every bit of the $30 and 30 minutes of installation time. No cable changes needed either.

Old thread, I like that tank protector. Been thinking of 1 up and 1 back my self.

Over six months later they work as designed. They also never loosened up. Best value mod for guys over 40.

I also added a Sargent seat which is way better than stock, but only good for 100-120 miles at a time.
