Happy Ending - Part 2 of the Traded Gen II and got screwed.

its not just about more power but that bike needs the throttle smoothed out which is what the flashtune software does. more power thats proper and smooth is better than less power thats twitchy. talk to nels with 2wheeldynoworks about it, he owned one and is one of the few flashtune guru's in washington

Ill look into it, I definitely don't want a jerky/twitchy throttle.

also Yamaha R1 Forum is where you'll find lotsa great deals on r1 parts. i did my r1 suspension/brake etc swap from parts off of there for great deals if ya just wait it out and lowball enough lol

ive done some lurking on there. Not a very active forum but not bad. Ill join it soon, been busy.

BTW, started and let bike idle a bit last night. Damn that crossplane engine sounds a bit weird, but in a very good way. hard to explain, but its different

The headlights on that bike are the baddest of any motor vehicle ever produced. No wonder that and other features make it the best selling liter bike.

The frame damage on the other bike is a total loss. At least you did not overreact! :::sarcasm::: Good deal, you made it through the other side. Will be a good Christmas.

Ya the headlights are killer, and some of the features are amazing. Honestly I didn't look at other liter bikes, I'm a Yamaha guy so I buy the brand unless I read that there are known bad issues with the year/model.

I know some other bikes have more features and safety equipment, but damn it looks good

the three things you only really need to do is have the suspension set for you $40ish, ss brake lines $100 ish, and a tune $200-300ish, and it's a phenomenal street/track bike

Ya I agree.

luckily I probably wont need suspension done too much as im 5'10" 175lbs so most bikes are already set up for me, just light tweaking to rebound and dampening
