Well the US Heat Dome has moved east and replaced the Pleasure Dome that we had over the weekend in New England. I'm sure some in the west and mid west are happy to see it move on temporarily. What's next? Thunder Dome?

Fear mongering. Every 4 years they take it a step further.
We've had multi day 90+ degree weather for as long as I can remember here in New England. They use to call it a heat wave, we typically get two a summer, but it's a Dome from here on. Use to be a Nor Easter now its Bombogenisis. I'm waiting for the action packed weather Doomsday movie "BOMBO".
Got in about 100 miles today. Temps were about 94 so not too bad in armored mesh. The trick is finding shady tree lined roads with minimal traffic. Schools out in most towns.
