Help needed on fairing removal for oil change on 2009 FZ1

I have a 2009 FZ1 that came from the dealer with a fairing already on the bike, and I am not sure how to take it off to do the oil change. I would certainly appreciate any help that anyone could give.

Looks like I am about 17 days late, but I joined the sit 17 minutes ago lol.

Anyway, assuming you are talking about the full fairing kit.

Only need to pull the left side. 3 plastic clips that hols the center to the side piece. They are phillips head and they will unscrew, but you might need to hold the clip from the back side to keep the whole thing from spinning

After that there are 5 allen bolts. 4 on the side and one under the front upper fairing. The highest one on the side is longer then the rest and bit of a bear to get back in sometimes. The one in the front under the fairing has a 10mm (6mm thread) nut inside the fairing that the allen bolt screws into.

Not sure what you are using for blinkers, but mine has flush mounts and I just leave the wire hooked up. Set a rag under the rear side of the fairing and let it hang from the wire.

Hope this helps if you are not already done.
