How much clearance should you have between centre stand and chain/shock dogbone?

So the other day realized that on my new to me FZ1, the centre stand was sitting against the rear shock dogbone and the chain was ever slightly grinding away at the centre stand. Problem was as simple as the Yoshi exhaust was missing the rubber bumper, well half of it at least, the inner bit was still there. Got a new one and put it on, but I'm still not sure I have enough clearance. Without measuring, I'd say it's about 1cm at the dogbone and about the same at the chain. Is this normal or not?
 
In the manual it has the spec of where the chain should sit. Don't have it on me or I'd look it up for you. Sounds like the chain is loose though. When I switched my exhaust and didn't have a stop my chain was nowhere near my center stand
