If it was your 1st post and you included a link - that equals an instant ban. They warn you in the rules not to post a link in your 1st post. This is their way of keeping spammers off the site and it seems to work, but does catch some unwary folks.
I did the same thing too and followed the instruction and asked to come back - they took their time and there was a lecture or two along the way, but they unbanned me when it was all said and done.

They did that too me a year ago after I put in a link to my Fototime pics .... instant ban. You have to send a note and grovel and in a day or two they will reinstate you ... their filter is very sensitive, you essentially can't link to anyplace else.

No, that isn't needed. Send a note to the moderator requesting clarification on why the ban was implemented, they'll fix it. Contrary to general belief here they aren't bad people, there is a lot of info on that site that isn't available here.
