Knobbies For Dirt Ridin'

Many may think this an odd question, however, has anyone ever spooned a set of knobbies on their FZ-1 so they could go ride in the dirt, or ice. Please let me know, what kind of tires, what kind of clearances did you have, did you have to relocate or remove fenders and what not?

What did you change your suspension settings too?

I was hoping to use more of a budget company tire as I'd likely only use these very few times, something from, (dare I say) Kenda? I did have a look but close to stock sizes(understandably so) were definitely waaaaay different. What sizes have others, or yourself, used?
