My grips were delivered yesterday and I installed them last night. The ride in to work and after work have already proved that to me that they helped remove the vibration and they are much more comfortable than stock - at least for me. I will try to post back after I've gone on some long rides.

I've had them on my VTX for a couple of years and never got anything on my hands. Maybe after you installed them you got some black sh*t on them and it just took several years for it to wear off - j/k

The only time I ever got crap off of grips was when I would run foam grips and as they would age they would get brittle and start crapping foam turdlettes on my hands.
