Has anyone added foam to the front portion of the stock seat to change the seating position slightly? I'm a new Gen I owner and the more time I spend on the bike the less I like the seating position. The seat is quite comfortable other then the fact it pushes your jewels into the tank:ugh:
Maybe this can be changed with a bar riser rather than a seat mod?
I know I can buy a Sargent/Corbin etc. but I'm looking for the cheap way out first.

I did it on my 6R. Go to any upholstery shop and usually they will work with you. I kind of play with different density and combination of foam... Once I was all happy with it I got both seats recover.

Here's a pic of my bike on my "Red Neck Stand" LOL

Try bar risers 1 up/1 back, and different bars.
the corbin does not help...yes you sit further back, and more tush cushining, but they built up the front so your jewels are crushed against the front padding....not as bad as the tank....but.
I now use a sargeant, but still pushes you up against the tank.
I HAVE SHORT ARMS..........and the sport riding position does not help.
I now flipped my risers around...got me 1 inch back.....1 inch riser up, and Magura bars from a street tripple.
Most comfortable I have ever been.
