65 here and perfect day for riding, just haven't found any roads like either of you as far as back to back to etc. twisties.

But a general question, (va or devil, or ??)your leathers one/two pieces and make? Getting ready to get serious, hunt for twisties and track days, and looking to those who have some input on quality gear.

Thanks,
BroHay

I wear a 2 piece FieldSheer leather suit ... I love it for summer and spring riding ... For wet weather/cool weather, I wear a two piece Teknic getup. It's pretty damn awesome as well. For me, two piece was really the only way to go... If you can actually fit into a one piece, that's a good option, as long as you'll wear it at more than just the track ..

So I looked @ both and I have some additional questions. Is the back hump removable, or do you just get gear without? What is the purpose of the back hump? Its advantages vs. not having one?

b/c I would also use the jacket for normal commuting and need to be able to wear a backpack with laptop, accessories, and binders for work. It seems like it would get in the way.....(might also help me if I go look at what is available locally to become familiar with some of the features...)

Thanks,
BroHay

for normal riding, you won't need a speed hump. I haven't seen any that are removable... the only reason I have a speed hump is because I won the jacket on eBay for $60. The purpose of a speed hump is for aerodynamics.. at triple digit speeds on the track, you can notice the speed hump ... a little less turbulence... Lee Parks in his book "Total Control" describes some speed hump testing... he was trying different sizes and shapes.. he had a custom made suit with a velcro panel on the back so he could temporarily attach different speed humps to test them out... well on one straight stretch, the velcro came loose and he lost his speed hump. He said that it felt as if 20lbs had been added to his helmet..
