Leave it gold, or matte black???

I got my RSV4 forged wheel today. It's perfect. The question is, leave it gold and match the rear wheel in the same, or go black on both? Note black would be a textured matte black.

I'm thinking black as the yellow paint and gold forks, and gold wheels maybe too much.

Thoughts??

Leave it gold for now. You can plastidip it to see if you like it better matte black. If so, have it done when it is convenient.

Oh no no. No plastidip. Tomorrow I'm meeting with one of the local powder coat, ceramic coat experts to chat about options. She is simply the best and works at the national show and race bike level. The Aprilia shop isn't sure how the wheels are finished. I'm hoping she knows.

The wheel with bearings is 6.6 lbs. Feather light so I want the correct type of finish if I change the color. Regardless I need the rear to match. I'm OCD like that.

I wasn't telling you plastidip and call it good. It would simply let you know what you prefer. It peals off easy. A pressure washer makes short work of it.

+1 and it won't show the dirt/grime as easy as the gold. I'd rather be riding than cleaning.

Looks awesome. You made the right decision .
If your bike was a darker colour then the Gold would have been a better choice.
