New to the forum, new to street bikes, and new to my 2015 FZ1.

Well, I finally pulled the trigger. Went and got my motorcycle permit. My name is Heath and I live in a small town in eastern Kentucky where there are lots of motorcycles on the road. Although I have owned a few Yamahas (in order, yz125, yz250, 660 Raptor) and currently own my bought new '06 YZ250 and '14 Grizzly 700 EPS. This will be my first ever street bike, needless to say, I'm really excited to go pick it up this Saturday.

I'll be scouring the forum frequently for information and mods. And yes, I know how to use the search function. I'll be sure to post a bunch of photos of my "FZ1-pick-up-adventure".
 
Thanks for the welcome everybody, I'm a Yamaha man and I researched and chose the FZ1. Just one more day and it will be in my possession buhwhahaha.

One stealership tried to sell me pearl white, but I was dead set on 2015 Granite Gray.
 
Hey - lots can be done with pearl white.

Make sure to put pics of your up when you get it.

As promised. The photos are reversed in the order they were taken. On the trailer was at the stealership. The Shoe GT-Air is my helmet, the RF-1200 is for the wife.
 
Looks great. Word of warning. Being a dirt bike guy, you will probably be popping the front wheel up? These come on with a rush at about 8k, so don't have the wheel up when you hit that! Sorry guys not encouraging this but I know I pop the front up on everything I ride. Have fun.
