NASA Soldering Guide. I've not read it yet. 114 pages!

I'm trying to figure out the best way to solder a T intersection, or joint, or union, or whatever it is called.

Project is coming along very nicely Pete. I love seeing the updates. My question is: what is the R&R Cable and what does it do?

Hitachi carb, choke mod. With the loss of the OEM switch gear with the MotoGadget M-Switch, a replacement for the OEM choke leveler needed to be developed. This is a two position "switch" with 50% and 75% choke. The bike will not start will 100% so that was not needed.

How is the set up different from your standard choke lever you might find down on the frame for example? The little 'clicks' that indicate choke position are pretty cool

That carb set used a lever under the left switch gear. There wasn't a way to use it directly from the carb.

Pretty slick this looks like the choke on Honda 250x and 300 ex quads except they are on the bottom
