oil warning light

Hi everyone, I also had to take my oil pan / sump off and back on again and as you probably know to do this you also have to unbolt the oil level switch.
Everything back on again, Bike starts up and runs fine but now oil light flashes 10 times then 2 second pause and then on again.
Owners manual says oil level detection circuit faulty how can this be when only came on after bolting back on. Spoke to Yamaha they not come across this before, Any ideas

Is that a GenII bike?
