I fitted these about 6 months ago. I resisted for years (drove a GSXR600) -- I wish I'd fited them years ago. The R1 is the featured bike on the packaging and they fit perfectly to my FZ1.

The new grip is the right diameter and is a sports style pattern. I love them and use them a lot (even though I live in Australia). I reckon I couldn't live without them in the Northern Hemisphere!

I'm curious about install. Was it difficult? When you get a chance could you post a photo of the set up. I would like to see how clean it looks before I put it on my '05.
