I'm sure it has been asked before but I can't seem to find the thread. I am looking at buying a pc5 for my 2011 fz1 but being on somewhat of a budget I was wondering if there was any difference between the one that fits a 2009 and can be had on fleabay for 280$ and the one specifically for a 2010-2012 and costs about 370$ on ebay?

A pc5 is a pc5, be it for 2007 or 2012 model. Maybe what you're seeing on ebay is a pc3 (which should also work with a 2012).

The 2009 model PCV will work on your bike but the 2010-2012 models come with the O2 optimizer that allows your O2 sensor to still operate and control part throttle areas from around 3500 to 7500 rpm .

If you use the 2009 model you just unplug the O2 sensor.

Shop around you can do much better than $370. Try " Indy Superbikes "
