Rear Sets/ Footrest Mod to move pegs Forward?

Hello,
I just got my FZ1 and I'm crazy about everything except the footpeg positioning. I would like to move them forward from stock. It looks like a lot of people move them back for racing. I am more interested in comfort for long distance. I would probably only need to move them about 2 inches forward (along with the shifter and brake lever).

Any ideas?

Not sure if it's possible to move it that far forward but another option is the adding harley pegs as you can see below... it would suit long distance travel and you can switch between both

theres a guy on fz1oa that makes highway pegs that might help you out, they don't move the shifter or brake lever forward though, just a place to rest your feet for cruising. The guy on the other forum who makes them is satan666. hope this helps

I just got a set of frame sliders from t rex racing and they work great as highway pegs

Thanks for all the input. So it looks like shifting the whole rear set is going to be a no-go. I'll check out the highway peg option.
