rebuild carbs with jet kit

My Gen 1 has Ivans Jet Kit installed and I need to have the carbs rebuilt. I`m wondering if anyone can direct me to a web site with the proper specifications for these modified carbs that my mechanic should know about. Thanks in advance. Fred

Why do they need to be rebuilt? Were they damaged?
Usually they just need a good cleanng and sync..

Well it sat for a long time and apparently some of the jets got gummed up and the the idle is rough and throttle response from idle is not as snappy as it should be. It runs beautifully at about 2000 rpm and up. Certainly I dont want any more work than necessary but I`m qualified to to know.Thanks for responding to my post.

You likely don't need an entire rebuild. It's probably just the idle (pilot) jet that is gummed up.
Take the carbs apart and clean all the jets.
The pilot will probably need a wire poked thru all the holes.

Seafoam or Stabil. Easy possibilities first.

You could also run straight Seafoam thru the carbs if you wanted to. Disconnect the fuel line then feed it directly into the line. Or drain or run most of the gas from the tank and then pour some Seafoam into it.
