Hello I'm new here and have a quick question I have an 07 fz1 and it came with a TBR slip on still in the box previous owner did not put it on the bike is stock no mods yet can I put the TBR can on and ride as is or will it mess anything up thank you

It will not mess anything up. Go ahead and slap it on. You'll hear more popping from exhaust when rolling off throttle at higher RPM, but it won't hurt anything.

running lean will IMPROVE the fuel eco.

Isnt the point of a slip on is to improve the performance? Without optimizing the A/F you will be missing the potential. Perhaps thats why the PO didnt install it?

I can't speak for everyone, but I want to say that in most cases people install slip-ons for sound / lighter weight / better look.

Slip-on alone produces very little performance gains (if any), with or without PC. If you introduce other mods though, PC may be necessary and dyno tuning would be a good idea too.

I dont know about that...

Even a slip on is "free-er flowing". More air out means more in and more fuel to keep the right A/F ratio. Assumeing that the ratio is right to begin with.

Even the stock map isnt the best as its a OEM compromise.

Stock map is lean for sure.. hence the pretty good fuel economy. However, more air out does not automatically mean more air in. It just means there's less back-pressure.. often resulting in minor loss of low end torque and slight increase of power at high rpm.

Add a high flow air filter and air box mod, and now you've got more air in and out.. and that setup may require PC. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.
