I have a friend who just was selected as the bass trombone player for the Newport Symphony, and they had their first performance of the year last weekend. What a great excuse to jump on the steeds and go!

We went by way of Alsea Falls:

Got some fall color:

And posed for a picture:

Headed to Newport, had dinner at an Irish Pub (oops, no food pics...) and then to the Symphony. Carmina Burana, with 125 choir members, a 20 voice children's choir and the symphony.

A bonus for me is another friend of mine subbed on tuba:

The next day, we went to Yaquina Head Lighthouse:

Not a high mileage weekend, but a really nice getaway.

Great photos! I like the silver bike with the blue accents good looking color combo. I think some blue rim stripes would look killer on your bike.
