UK FZ1n Progress so far!

As I got her end of Feb 2014:



As of last Friday (End of March 14) I have:
Replaced the front seat for a genuine gel seat and rear standard seat
Oxford heated sport grips
Evotech tail tidy, crash bungs and exhaust hanger
Micron GP exhaust

She now looks like this:

I have a set of Ivans AIS blanking plates that arrived this morning. So next job is ripping the AIS out! Id like a belly pan in yellow and a rear cowl in black as well. Oh and a flyscreen to!

Thats a good start.....

I saw a few weeks back on the UK ebay a yellow cowl new for some 75 GBP don't know if it's still selling. As for the flyscreen try on ebay also lots of aftermarket screens givi, puig ect...can be found for a reasonable price.

The exhaust is so loud even with the baffle in, every time i let of the throttle it wouldnt stop popping. Just thought it would be a matter of time before the police pulled me! It still pops occasionally if i give it a fist full. :angel:

Great bike had to change the handlebars thou, I just didn't like the flat bars they seemed so narrow.

Fantastic looking bike also! Kind of the look im aiming for except im thinking yellow belly pan and black cowl! Dont suppose your after a top sellerie seat are you? :angel:

I changed the handlebars to Renthal 758s but had to change the risers for Suzuki sv650 ones which are lower.

The factory FZ1N seat cowl looks awesome.

I didn't like the look of the after-market ones so I went factory and I'm really happy with it.

Yes, it only fits the FZ1N rear end.

Grab rails on the FZ1S and it's a different shape.

The rear pillion seat is different too.
