Windscreen upgrade - Maier?

I am looking to upgrade my Gen I fz1's windscreen because there is quite a bit of wind at high speeds and I have to tuck down really low to get out of the way.

Any suggestions for a windscreen? Has anyone tried the Maier windscreen from ebay? It is inexpensive compared to other windscreens and I am wondering if it's any good.

I've got that one. It's better than stock because of the hump while remaining about the same size. My favorite that I've tried has been the zero gravity sport touring screen.

Compared to the ZGST, the maier smaller and louder. But still an improvement over stock to me. Of course, I'm only 5-3 so ymmv.

Thanks for the input. I think I will go with the double bubble like I originally planned to.

Did you lower your fz1?? My brother is 5'5" and he is too scared to ride my fz1... What is your inseam?

I just put the Zero Gravity Double Bubble on the other day and I love it. I had the stock one before and lets just say that it was a waste of plastic. I'm 5'9" with and the wind just zips right up over my helmet.

I just bought the sport touring one for $62 shipped. I wanted the double bubble, but it costed at least 20$ more. Hope it doesn't make me hot in the summer 0.0
