I as I glance at the Skunk in the security screen, my mind is wondering where it normally does when it comes to motorcycles, "How can I chop stuff and make it better?". This is the end of my second year on the FZ1 and I have no complaints. Probably overall the best bike I've ever owned. But I am, by my twisted nature, prone to chop, modify, fabricate & paint things that are not nessisarily broken. OK, the rear tire is shot, she's in need of a steam bath & there are twice the amout of scratches in the black paint that are past the point of buffing. Besides the fender elimination, handlebar, mirrors, and the new wind screen, it's stock. I am batting ideas in my head. A fabricated pipe? Streetfighter headlight? Paint?(though I love the skunk) Any input?
