If you were closer, you could borrow mine. I've got a chinese ebay one that I bought used off of a forum. Got a good deal because the owner didn't know how to "calibrate" it. It looks like this:
(You have to pry the glass off the move the needle to where it's supposed to be to "calibrate" it.)
But since you're not, what about making one?
