WTB - Gen1 Lower Fairing Kit - 2005 Blue

New FZ1 owner and wanting to add to the experience! I'm looking to purchase a lower fairing kit, Yamaha part 5LV-W0712-00-00 in blue.

If you have one you'd like to find a new home for, please let me know.

These lowers in "used" condition are becoming harder and harder to find, especially when looking for a specific color. Ebay is your first line of defense and after that you have our "classified" section and the "other" site's classified section. If all else fails you may have to email the company who makes them if you decide to buy it new. I've been fortunate to have owned two sets, both used, in excellent condition. The first set were ruined in a crash and the second set is currently on the bike now. I am going to post a thread in the GenI "Mod" section under "Lower Fairings", with the email of the company who makes and distributes them for anyone who wishes to contact them. They are very nice and helpful. Good luck in your search!
 
Thanks for the info. I actually found that company in a Google search but wasn't sure what they offer fits my bike. I'm pretty new to this FZ1 and get confused with all the different lingo ...gen1, gen2, frazer and what fits which.

I'll fire them off an email and see about price and delivery if I can't find something used.

No problem JC. I'll break it down easy. All FZ1's from 01-05 are GenI's and all from 06-to the present and considered GenII's. All GenI's have carbs and all GenII's are fuel injected.
 
I have a blue lower fairing off a 2005 FZ1 that I bought recently. I am thinking about selling it as I like the bike without the fairing. Let me know if you are interested.
