The tail fairing on my new-to-me '01 is cracked in several places. The tail fairing has been removed from my bike (along with all other colored plastics) for a repaint in satin black.

I could use plastic cement and attempt a few adhesive braces on the underside of the tail fairing, but wondered if anyone had other options available here. Scratches, gouges, holes not an issue. I can make almost anything look relatively smooth and acceptable from a distance.

Thanks!

Going to get pics, but have a silver tail with a bit of gouge but all tabs in place.

BroHay & speedjunkie - thanks for the responses.

I'm probably better off just plastic-cementing my existing tail and adding braces/reinforcement under the skin. Not a big deal. Been there, done that.
