But it is for my granddaughter Bridgette to start learning to ride. Full gear and training wheels are on the way! W00T!!! Sorry about the sideways phone pic!

Wow!!! Already!!! God how time flies! Congrats!

It's a 2012 holdover TT-R50EB, 4-stroke 49cc, Electric start, 3 speed-automatic with a throttle governor. I'll be able to set it for a very low speed until she learns control then gradually increase the speed. She'll eventually learn to shift. I got on it at the dealer and rode it... it scoots! So it will need to be throttled WAY back.

I'll try and get a pic of her in what gear we were able to bring home. She got an HJC motocross helmet, goggles, gloves and chest/back/shoulder protector. On order are the shirt, pants and motocross boots along with the training wheels.

I am super-excited about getting her up on two wheels. She's always been facinated with Nanny and Grampa on their FZ1 bikes... when she came to the store to get fitted for the helmet and sat on the bike, she was elated with joy! She ran around the store telling everyone she got a motorcycle just like Grampa! Loved it!!!

I see some great bonding time coming up!

That had to be yet another "Hallmark" moment to add to the list buddy!

Thats wounderful. I bet she is happy. Its going to need a pink decal kit so she matches the bike.

Well, she is getting a pink MX shirt and the goggles are pink! :D But I'm going to teach her to "bleed BLUE!"

So, I'm looking at MX boots for toddlers? OMG! The cheapest size 8 boots I found are $120.00! The ones we bought her at the dealer are size 11 and will fit her for 2014/15 riding. May end up with shin guards and some tall leather boots for this season. That's a lot of money for boots that will fit for about one season. Kids are tough to outfit properly....

Richie's first bike had all the "go fast" parts on it. Pit Bikes have a huge aftermarket following. I think I spent 600 bucks on all the parts when it was said and done. It was worth it cause that little XR ripped!!!

He had an FMF Exhaust System on his and it sounded nice without the baffle.

I'm going to watch the ads and CL for stuff because when Bridgette is done with it, I think it would make a great yard toy to tool around on. Some of the suspension parts are for up to 250 lbs!?!? Big bore kit, big carb kit, tall seat..... wow!!
