It's not big deal if it stays at 90 (instead of 95-100 like it's supposed to be) but I figured I'd ask.
I brought up the diagnostic for the bike and my closed throttle number is 16. (Good, supposed to be between 15-18), but my open throttle is only at 90.
What could cause this? Short of the TPS not recognizing anything past 90? It rolls on smoothly from 16 to 90. It never skips or jumps when I smoothly and slowly roll on throttle. I recently installed a PC V which, according to Ivan's thread doesn't need TPS adjustment as the bike sits at 1250~RPM with a .649 value.
So, why would it not go past 90? I can't get out and ride the bike, due to where I live and the time of year. So, I can't tell if it's a real detriment. (I don't imagine it would be.) I can't remember the last time I went WOT on a motorcycle... Regardless, it nags at me a bit.
I would rather not buy an e-bay used one to find out it maxes out in the 80s or such and a new one is around $135. (And it might not even be the problem?)
The bike reads 90 with the Power Commander unhooked, IIRC. Also, the bike had an Ivan FCE that I removed. I made sure the connections were tight when returning the IAP wires and that black/yellow wire back to the original mates. I don't think any of those four wire has anything to do with the issue at hand, though, does it?
Thoughts?

On bikes with a PCV, choose “power commander tools” > “calibrate throttle position”
look at the current value (middle box) you need to move the TPS so your average # in the current box is somewhere between 0.640 & 0.650 while the bike is idling at 1250 rpm (appx)
If you already have these readings, there is no need to adjust your TPS.
