the R6 was just someone I was talking to as it was a sweet ride.joe when i was at the Gap earlier this month I met a guy on a beat up YZF with like 60k miles that knew you dont remember his name this thing had JB weld all over it and the fairings were duct taped and zip tied together

Glad you all had a safe trip and a lot of fun! Suck to have the truck break down but it is far better than a bike break down! At least you could have ditched the truck and rode the bikes. :tup:
 
who you calling old you fellow old fart!! at least my bike is clean!! I swear John and myself have OCD when it comes to cleaning bikes.almost a whole can of qiuck detailer between us for 3 days every night after riding and maybe twice a day.I think the harley guys were getting Jealous and started pulling thier bikes around to wash them.

That was probably Warrior Mike. He's a local and used to ride a Warrior when (damn names) the guy on the Goldwing use to follow crotch rockets and take pictures of them. I raced him through the Dragon -- him on the Warrior and me on a 98 Magna. Then him and I switched to sport bikes. He never challenged me on the FZ1. He's probably really fast on the Dragon since he has it memorized and rides it every week.

:D I don't have time to wash it much... it takes away from riding! Isn't it funny that our bodies age but man... I still feel like I'm 25 yrs old in the mind! Too bad the old bones won't do what this young mind wants them to do! ;)

They DO look great all cleaned up and at least we all know you both RIDE them too! For some, these are tools... others, they are toys.

if the weather is cooler we could roll up your way Eric escape some of the heat.BTW my bike has almost 15k on it just seems like yesterday when I bought her with 0 miles

MUCH cooler up here! Come up for a White Mountains tour. We're in the mid-70's up in the mountains. Some good riding up there for a couple days.
