I've no longer a need for the following items as I no longer have an FZ1:
1. Genuine Yamaha 16T front sprocket (std on the Gen II is a17t, but this is a popular mod),
2. Genuine oil filter for the Gen II; and
3. V4 Speedo Healer (inc harness).
All of it brand new, never used and still...
So the genuine Yamaha 16T front sprocket (std on the Gen II is a17t, but this is a popular mod), new oil filter for the Gen II and the V4 Speedo Healer (inc harness) are still up for grabs. Australia only.
Sprocket and filter - $40 plus post.
Speedo Healer - $100 plus post.
The lot - $130...
Yeah...I know. But its a common mod.....one I never got around too.
As a matter of fact, thanks for reminding me......I have a Speedo Healer V4 and harness too...brand new still in original packing. All up it cost me $140. I'll sell it for $100 plus post.
As I was going through my garage I found a brand new, still in original unopened packaging, genuine Yamaha 16T front sprocket and a new oil filter for the Gen II.
As you know I'm no longer on the FZ1 so if any of you blokes in Australia want to give me $40 (+ postage) for both sprocket and...
Blanchy, that is a really professional job. Looks great.
Mrjess, I used to just use the tachometer method. Top gear was about 4000 rpm at 100kmph if I recall correctly. Now I'm on a Multistrada and it has a gear indicator. As an aside, the multi is geared a bit higher than the FZ1 so top...
Yeah, maybe that's the idea? Anyway, I know she stops ok after some retard with no brake lights decided to suddenly stop in the middle of the road today! Thank god my baby is ok!!
Well folks, after much debate and consideration I finally traded my trust 2009 FZ1N on a 2013 Ducati Multistrada 1200. :jaw drop:
I have to say that it was with mixed emotions as my FZ1 was one of the most reliable and well handling bikes I've ever owned.....but the fiery Italian lass stole...
Mate, that's brilliant...thank you. I have to say, after owning a R1100s, I quite like a few vibes...in fact that is one thing I really miss as bikes with vibes feel "alive". I think the MTS will suit me better than a GS as 90% of my riding is road based. I'm glad you mentioned the ST4 as I...
Anyone out there got a Ducati Multistrada (preferably 2013 model) and an FZ1?
If so, what are your thoughts?
I'm seriously thinking of an MTS 1200 as my next bike.
