Fitted a new carbon hugger to the speed triple r. I had to remove the rear tire because one of the screws holding the hugger is on the underside of the hugger. Had to borrow the giant 46mm socket from a friend but have my own on the way.
I have not talked to the dealer I bought it from yet. I just let my local shop know they missed it when they did my oil change, tire change and suspension setup.
Look closely at the first two photos in this thread of my Speed Triple. Notice anything missing on the rear connection to the dog bone? I put 2,000 miles on the bike without it. Thank god Eric saw it.
They are such good people. My wife and I will have the pleasure of hosting them in November. We live very close to the Texas renaissance festival and most of you know they are big fans of that. Texas has one of the biggest festivals there is.
