I have say, Aprilia is looking good! The hard work they put in this year seems to have paid off. Iannone is very fast on the Suzuki and it looks like Folger and Zarco are settling in nicely with the Tech 3 bikes. Maverick is looking very scary for 2017! Poor Rins got hurt pretty badly and will be out for a month at least.

I saw that and I don't know what I think of that. It is a big jump from 250 to 750 and I hope they are able to talk with the frame manufacturers to come up with the best layout before keeping their traditional mounting bolt locations. I also hope they have more reliability than they have had in their past racing endeavours.
 
I think it's a neat idea and am generally positive about the prospect. One of the biggest advantages I was reading about is how much narrower the bikes are going to be. From what I gather, a lot of the chassis innovation that Moto2 was supposed to bring was somewhat stifled by the width and layout of the 600 I4 and all the competitive teams ended up on the same general layout.

I have serious doubts that these new engines are going to be anywhere near as reliable as the outgoing Honda I4s are but perhaps that'll just be part of the show. I bet they'll sound incredible.
