Well, I back safe and sound from today's ride to the mountain. The bike performed flawlessly both there and back. I have absolutely no complaints. Even my legs, arms, and back are just fine. I logged 110 miles today and had a blast! The bike is rock steady at all speeds, and makes no rattles or other noises. She's extremely quiet on the road. I only wish I had my GoPro mounts so I could have gotten better video. I guess next week's ride will be better. She cruises along, turning only 3,500rpms at 60mph with no vibrations at all. Just super smooth power whenever you need it. At my "special spot", closed course of course, I rolled into it from 60mph and in no time flat was into triple digit speeds. Not a wobble at 120mph! She just chugs along like nobody's business. One noticeable feature that I love is that there is no wind turbulence when behind "square shaped" vehicles. The FZ1 was terrible whenever I was behind Jeeps, Trucks, or mini vans. The YZF just sits there with no buffeting whatsoever. Beautiful!! So I have no complaints about anything thus far. I filled up before leaving the house and reset the trip counter. When I got to "The Circle" I filled up again. I traveled 40.2 miles to get there and she took .825 Gallons to fill her up again. That calculates to 48.7 MPG!! I can't complain about that! So here is some shots and videos from today's ride. I know the videos are crappy cause I had the camera angle too low. When the new mounts come, I'll have much better views.

So hopefully my mounts will be here tomorrow so I can make better looking videos!

Glad your back Billy. She sounds AWESOME! Even with the wind noise, you can hear the growl! Are you using the waterproof door or the open door on the GoPro?

Awesome Billy !! Great to have you back on the two-wheeler again !!

I was actually thinking of you just the other day when I threw a leg over the Monster Energy FZ you used to own and ripped up the highway killing a zillion bugs while enjoying the warm sunshine !!

The YZF looks and sounds great . . . . ... you did wonderful things with it my NY friend . . . .!!!

Thanks everyone! It was so nice to be riding up North again. Eric, I am using the waterproof door on the GoPro. I didn't notice until you just mentioned it about the noise, but I'm missing one little screw on the Lens Cover. I have extras so I'll have to replace it. Jeez, I never noticed that. There shouldn't be that much wind noise with the waterproof case......right???
