So i just found a PCV for sale with auto tune for 310 bucks. Is this a good price for both used? Will i still have to tune the PCV or will the auto tune do everything? This will be my first time buying dealing with fuel injection I'm used to re-jetting haha. Thanks for the help!

Hi Beast,

could you give a brief summary what you need to do to set up the auto tune with MAP?

I think i would like to try it but of cause do not want to start it without knowing how much work it is. I think I would not like to log the data, my job does not leave much room for tuning, in my spare time I prefer riding :).

If they are in good working condition, its a good deal. You'll still need to load a base map. It won't cure fuel cut if thats what you're trying to do. Past that, I have no experience with t.

On the later ECUs, I can tune out the side effects of fuel cut to the point that you will never find it from the seat. It is possible to find on the data logs.

As far as I know, the autotune has always worked. You just have to set it up correctly.

I have a base map you can use to set up MAP based tuning. The last one I helped a guy set up took about 20 min on the phone. I just do a join.me session and watch over your shoulder as you set up the things that do not come over in the base tune. Hopefully some day the guys that have done this will get together and do a step by step with screen shots.
