Best aftermarket seat for driver and passenger

I have a 2007 FZ1.

I'm looking to find out what brand/style/model of seat people like the best.

My significant other definitely wants something with a backrest and a little more comfort. I would like a little more padding myself as the stock seat offers nothing for comfort.

Suggest you do a search for the following: "Seats" "Saddles" "Sargent" , "Corbin", "Top Saddlery"

There are a lot of opinions and postings regarding aftermarket saddles.

Perhaps the most popular are 1.) Sargent 2.) Corbin 3.) Top Saddlery 4.) Yamaha Comfort seat (although Yamaha doesn't make a pillion comfort)

My preference is Corbin and I know they have a back rest for the pillion. NEW Corbin Pilot, pillion with backrest will set you back about $680.

That is correct. No one else makes anything with a backrest, but it you're good at fabricating I'm sure something could be rigged up to any seat.
