I have a 2003 FZ1. Lately I've been having many passengers but I always end up using my back pack's plastic clips to carry my 2nd helmet when I go and pick up girls. Sooo Does anyone have a easy/functional alternative to carry a 2nd helmet on an FZ1 without a backpack? The lock that unlocks my seat and is apparently a helmet holder is all jammed up and broken. So lately I've been keeping my seat attached with duct tape... Any advice would be awesome thanks.

I always use a bungee net on the passenger seat. I don't want something like tat attached to me if I go down.

yeah exactly what i do, u can get like a 1ftx1ft bungee cargo net, maybe a little bigger, and use the hooks on the passenger grab bars on the sides of the rear seat.

As a young fella I rode around the place for *years* carrying second helmet on my left elbow.

Stick yer hand through from the bottom out the visor, it should sit fairly comfortably on your elbow when your arm is bent.

Havent tried it for a long time though, exhaust hanger fitted now and no pillion pegs anymore :)

Top case is best, gives the passenger a backrest.... but since you are picking up ladies im sure you are ok with the extra attention.

seriously though, either top case or bungie net. Bungie nets are cheap and work well for lots of items.
