Copper Dawg ss2 screen install

So I got my new ss2 yesterday. Popped off my OEM screen dropped the new screen on my 07 fz1 & screwed the original 6 screws back in - Looks great.
I'm not clear how to attach the area with those tiny screws for my mirror cut-outs??? Looks like I need to drill 1/16 hole in the middle of the
3" area that's under the mirror it wrapped around. It doesn't look flush to the fairing so I'm reluctant to drill. Considering do 2faced foam tape to secure it. Thoughts?

I used the 3M tape on mine so I wouldn't have to drill holes. I had to stack it up a bit under the screen to get contact with the bike.

It did not hold well the first time si I mixed some epoxy and built up two smooth strips under the screen to fix the 3M to. Then it stuck on great!
