Cripple Creek ride

Today was John's birthday and since it was an absolutely beautiful day, we decided to jump on the bikes and take a quick run up to Cripple Creek. Once a booming mining town, now it's just gambling, but still a pretty ride up a curvy mountain!
Just thought I'd share a few pics with you.

4) the tunnel we actually used to drive thru to get to CC when I 1st moved to Colorado...kinda scary looking now

Saw one State Patrol, but I wan't going fast cause it was kinda cold! It might have been 67f at 7,000 feet, but when you get up to 10,000 feet, that all changes!
