OK I'm hoping for a quick response from you electrical genius's. I got an integrated tail light from ebay. Here lies my problem. The tail light is all set up and works fine. The turn signals on the other hand is what has me stumped. Now keep in mind that the original owner put in led turn signals so the wiring under the seat was all ready a living hell. I am sure Geno can vouch for that. Anywho...the new light comes with 2 wires. 1 positive and 1 negative. Now on the led's there is a pos and neg wire going to each of the lights. the 2 pos wires coming out of the harness (green and brown) are seperated. The 2 neg wires are tied together into one coming from the harness.(see attached pics). So how do I get this thing wired so I get independent signals. I have tried various ways and I just keep getting 4 way flashers instead of signals

Hold on there Grinchie! I have the wiring diagram and am going to look at it right now. Give me a sec pal.

Thx Billy. I was just reading Hail's thread about how he did his tail light. I am wondering now to myself if the light itself is grounded through the tail light plug and the 2 wires coming out of the light are the "hot" wires for the signals.

According to the diagram, the GREEN wire is the positive connection to the RIGHT REAR SIGNAL LIGHT. The BLUE and YELLOW wires are both Positives for the Brake Lights, Yellow looks to be when you hit the brakes and BLUE looks to be just RUNNING LIGHTS. The BLACK looks to ground all bulbs. If you have a LIGHTED TESTER just do what I did and connect one end to ground and with the turn signal ON, just touch each wire until it blinks. Then do the same for the other side. Do you have the wiring schematic for the bike?

Thanks for the help billy. I just figured out what my problem was. After looking at Hail's thread it turns out my assumption was correct. The light grounds through the plug and the 2 wires coming out go to the brown and green wires. Electrical is not my strong point and my short fuse tends to get the best of me when I start working with this crap. It's tough making a 20amp system work with a 1 amp Temper :cuss: Thanx again for the quick response again Billy

No problem buddy. Glad it's figured out!

Well after Billy's help and help from Hail's thread I finally got it figured out. I took a quick little video just so you all could see.

I'm not exactly sure. I found it on ebay for like 35 bux. Seems to work pretty good so far. I guess only time will tell how good it really is. But for 35 bux I don't really care. I just wanted to give it a go and see how I liked it.
