Hi new to this forum,just bought FZ1N 2009 and thinking of replacing exhaust not sure which make to go for ,and what to do about exup valve do you just disconnect or eliminate altogether?

Check this out first. http://www.998cc.org/forum/gen-ii/887-value-exhaust-mods.html Then, as far as the valve goes, the replacement of the mufler will eliminate the valve, then you remove the cables and keep the motor in place. It's a simple enough opperation. The motor that controls the valve should be left in place to prevent any errors in the ECU opperation. More than likely your new can will have the directions for doing it.

Lone told you all you need to know. My Two Bros can did have the instructions on removal of the cables. When you take the stock can off, the EXUP is a part of that slip-on and comes with it.
