FCE...or?

Hey all. Opinions please. I'm about to install flies on my 2009 FZ, should I install an Ivans FCE as well? Or is that kind of redundant?

Question: Do you find the fuel cut annoying? If not skip it.

I would suggest a Power Commander and a custom tune. I assume you have an aftermarket muffler?

Im in the process of doing a multi mod. Yosh slip on, PC V, air box mod, filter, flies and ais plug. Was wondering if the FCE would help as well.

If you plan to use one of Dukes maps, you most likely will have better luck finding a good match if you get the FCE. It messes with the TPS signal. The majority of the bikes were tested and tuned with the FCE installed at this level of mods.

My '09 doesn't have a noticeable throttle snatch so I'm reluctant to spend $200 on an item that will net me no gains.

Does Duke have a set of maps specifically for bikes without the FCE?

Unless you have a snatchy throttle don't worry about a FCE. Powercommander & dyno tune is the way to go.

yes in the Duke map's pack, there are some differents maps to use without FCE
