The cord started showing through so it was time to ditch the old tires. Great which means I got to take of the terrible Michelin Pilot Road tire that was on the front. It had no traction.
Before
Then I did a little burnout. I was going to try and do some rolling burnouts and see how it feels. Well, I didn't have anyone to do the filming so I couldn't go anywhere safe to do it since if my tire popped while I was far from home then I would be screwed. So I just did some little crappy burnouts. I think rolling burnouts (drifting and whatnot) are much harder than stunters make em look thats for sure. The back tire once it got a little warm easily overpowered the front tire. So the front would just skid along it was really uncomfortable. Anyway here is some vid:

So the tire looked like this afterwards

Took off the wheels to go get the new Bridgestones put on
New Wheels and Tires!
Haha
I put red rim stripes on the back wheel that I had ordered. But the red is not a very close match to the red graphics on the bike so I'll probably take it off... have to get some pics of the new tires and wheels on.
The bike feels alot better with new tires. The old ones were totally squared off (they were like that when i got the bike) so having rounds tires is very nice now. 50 miles on the new BT016's been breaking them in leaning over as much as possible. I wish there were nice roads near where I live but there just aren't. I have to haul ass around entrance and exit ramps and u turn loops on the highways.
Well for whatever reason the "insert image" function is not working for me on this post... so if you wanna see the pics here is the album:
